A good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others. ~Author Unknown

The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called "truth." ~Dan Rather

The images are from the talented Nancy Wells, retired teacher from the School of Visual Arts, my alma mater!
The images are from a book she has done.

A shout to all the Honesdale High School Students who participated in the Connecting Community Show! Wow!! The work is fantastic! The show was a fabulous success! You even made the local news! Channel 13!
Bravo students!

More photos by Debra Fedchin!

Here are some incredible pictures that our own photographer; Debra Fedchin shot of our friend Thomas Deerheart (Drum Circle) and his gorgeous drum collection!
Just to let you know…
Thomas created all the drums you see in these photos!
Obviously, another incredible art form onto itself, those beautiful drums!
Thomas explains so eloquently his merging of the essences of the earth, animals, and man topped off with the magic of music into each drum!
And his tender belief that after he is gone…
Each piece would be shared,
used and even handed down for generations to come.
This just signifies the depth of his passion...
Dear Thomas; I wish to thank for always bringing it!
The fun and above all your friendship!
Best Wishes and continued blessings with Maya's new shop!
